ABOUT US
Knowing My Value, Passion, and Purpose.
My name is Tasha L. Jones and my passion is to share the gifts I’ve received in my life, with others. I’ve had wonderful, giving teachers, mentors, co-workers, and friends. And if I’ve learned anything from them – it’s that I’ve learned EVERYTHING from them.
I’ve learned about leadership. Community. And the value of finding your place in the world through service to others. And that’s how I see myself. As a leader, and as a community servant. Through my personal mentorship investment in young professionals, I share my own experience as a first-generation student of color navigating the post-secondary world. I aspire to empower future business leaders to honor their voice and speak their truth, by offering tips to build confidence to provide strategic input in department meetings. My purpose is to have a game-changing, positive impact on the advancement of women and girls. Through mentorship I show up for those who seek thoughtful guidance customized to their career aspirations. My insights and advice have resulted in job opportunities, professional growth, and renewed confidence in each and every young professional I mentor.
My seven-year mentorship commitment with the Challenge Foundation, to volunteering and fundraising efforts on behalf of Urban Peak Denver, has provided me with many opportunities to support organizations providing paths to advancement and self-sufficiency.
But my passion for one-on-one mentorship of youth in the community, and providing resources that assist them in reaching their greatest potential, has brought me the greatest joy.
Ultimately, collaboration is my greatest priority. I collaborate instinctively, with a core belief that, “we’re so much better when we work together as a whole.” Reminding teams of our shared vision and incorporating common goals to drive the final result – which is always better than we could achieve on our own. Through collaborative leadership, I set out to understand the desired outcome for the company’s bottom line, a board’s mission and vision, or a mentee’s professional aspiration, and I assure a clear and customized strategy is in place to successfully achieve the desired goal.
I hope you will allow me to assist you with discovering and leveraging your desired outcomes and common goals. I believe this is the most effective path to discovering shared vision and inspiring team alignment.
